our ROOTS...
In partnership with the local Jefferson City Kiwanis, the JCHS Key Club (KC) will function as a student-lead organization that promotes and sustains community awareness, service, and leadership development for Jefferson City High School students. Key Club will identify and create community service opportunities for students to gain service and leadership experience.
Beginning in the Fall of 2012, Key Club began the process of identifying community needs and creating opportunities for students at JCHS to get involved in their community. Key Club will communicate with internal and external publics about community service opportunities and accomplishments of JC students in the Jefferson City area on the local, state, national, and international levels. Through networking with all service organizations in the area, projects or events in need of help can contact KC. Key Club officers will present community needs to the KC leadership, and committees will be formed to organize, promote, and mobilize students to support community needs.
